Aim of the Consents Monitoring Workshop:

Enhance technical knowledge in wide ranging resources consents monitoring to be effective in water, air and soil management.

Attendees:

  • Regional Council Consent Monitoring staff/managers

Workshop contents:

  1. ENVIROKNOWLEDGE® techniques for efficient, legally defensible and cost effective consents monitoring.
  2. Understanding the concept of effective consent monitoring
  3. Effective technical consents compliance  monitoring of,
  • Riverbed disturbances (e.g. gravel extraction) or river structures;
  • Instream damming;
  • Coastal structures, bed disturbances;
  • Treated sewage, industrial or storm water discharges to water;
  • Land treatment and disposal of effluent;
  • Contaminated sites;
  • N leaching limit for farming;
  • Discharges to air (odour and particulates) and
  • Water takes and uses
