How can you comply with the RMA?

• If you are in doubt in applying the provisions under s330 of the Act consult with the respective regional or district council.

• If you have undertaken an activity under s330 of the Act advise the consent authority within 7 days of undertaking the acitivity.

• If the adverse effects of the undertaken activity is ongoing, apply for necessary consents within 20 days of notifying the undertaken activity.

• Once applied for necessary resource consents the activity may continue until a consent has been granted.
